As the shepherd assigned to The Rock of Ages CME Church, I can joyfully report to you that we have come through another storm and are standing by the love and grace of God.

We know that there will always be storms, some more impactful than others.  My hope is fixed in the power of our LORD to empower us through this period of great tragedy and need as we continue serving God and His sheep.

In the aftermath of this storm is a great opportunity to provide both the physical and soul-saving sustenance for such a time as this.

All communications systems were impacted by the recent storm so that we could not communicate with you timelier.  After you receive this information, please share it with everyone you know who loves the LORD and is willing to hear and act on the unction of the Holy Spirit in these matters.

In the physical, “change” describes the current situation. Yes, there is significant change that anyone can see.  However, the Holy Spirit exclaims “Reformation.”

Reformation births not only change but an entirely new environment for God and His people to grow closer, thus stronger in Him. One result of the Hurricane Helene storm is many souls are desperately reaching out for “The Rock” of salvation. We have been positively providing food, water, and other life-support in the community.

The plans we have for Rock of Ages currently are being shared with you because we need your supporting prayers, gifts and presence.

We need you physically in this sanctuary that God has preserved.  The Love of God enfolds everyone who enters the sanctuary.  The Spirit of God is alive and palpably available when you step into this sacred space. Right now, the work is more than we few can do.

Your presence is essential.  Please come as often as you are able. Your gifts--time and finances will have immediate impact.  Pray for the will of God at this time in this place.  We need those in the Body of Christ and The Family dwelling at The Rock, who are willing to step up to do the many tasks necessary. Truly, many hands and minds make light work.

This is a praise report and a call to action—Come.

We are yet alive and thriving…Praise God!
